Tri-Watershed Expo: A Learning Opportunity
Hubbard County is unique in that it crosses three watershed districts. They are the Mississippi Headwaters watershed to the north; the Leach Lake watershed covering the eastern portion and the Crow Wing watershed which includes the city of Park Rapids and southeastern part of Hubbard County. The bounded hydrologic system is where all living things are inextricably linked through common water communities and where we must become part of that community.
To enhance your knowledge of the impacts of land-use on water and natural resources the Hubbard County University of Minnesota Extension is presenting a
Tri-Watershed Expo on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 8:00am to 12:30pm at the Park Rapids High School.
