About the Highway 20 Cleanup
The Long Lake Area Association participates in Minnesota’s Adopt-a-Highway program and maintains a seven-mile stretch of County Highway 20 along the east side of Long Lake. Each spring and fall, LLAA volunteers pick up roadside litter, helping keep the Long Lake area clean and protecting the surrounding landscape.

Why It Matters
Regular roadside cleanups improve the appearance of the Highway 20 corridor, remove litter and debris from the surrounding landscape, and give LLAA members, families, and friends a hands-on way to care for the Long Lake community.
How to Volunteer
Can’t join us on the scheduled cleanup day? Email us in advance. We may be able to assign you a section of road to clean at another time.
