The Long Lake Area Association Foundation (LLAAF) supports critical stewardship efforts that protect the health, beauty, and long-term vitality of Long Lake. Your donation helps fund aquatic invasive species (AIS) inspections and mitigation, water quality monitoring, and fisheries protection. This work directly benefits the lake and our community.
Your generosity allows these essential programs to continue beyond what public funding alone can provide.

• Water Quality Monitoring — early detection to guide action
• Managing AIS already present in the lake
• Protecting Long Lake’s game fish populations
These programs protect the lake today — and preserve it for the future.
Our 2026 fundraising goal is $50,000, and your donation truly matters! As Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) and other environmental threats continue to grow, increasing the cost of watercraft inspections, water quality monitoring, and treatment of AIS. Also, expenses related to fisheries increase. In 2026, environmental stewardship and fisheries expenses, supported by the LLAA Foundation are expected to exceed $40,000 beyond what is provided by public funding and exclude several water quality and detection activities that are not currently in the 2026 budget. Watercraft inspections alone for 2026 are costing the LLAA Foundation $27,500. If you are able, we invite you to contribute. Thank you for helping protect the future of Long Lake.
