Long Lake is a recreational lake in Hubbard County near Park Rapids, Minnesota, valued for its water quality, natural shoreline, and strong community of residents. The Long Lake Area Association (LLAA) is a volunteer organization of property owners and neighbors working together to protect the lake’s health, preserve its Northwoods character, and support responsible stewardship for future generations.
Our members, donors, and volunteers work to advance the mission of the LLAA through programs, projects, and educational newsletters guided by our Board of Directors. The mission of the LLAA is “to be an advocate for the quality of life within our lake community through education and communication.”
The Board of the Long Lake Area Association (LLAA) is elected by its members with a representative from each of the six neighborhoods and two At Large members. They work with property owners and other interested parties to achieve the goals of the organization. The Association welcomes all those with a connection to Long Lake who want to be part of nurturing and maintaining our northwoods character and quality for future generations.
