Monthly Email from LLAA

Arthur Howe has sent out the first of what are to become monthly emails to the people on LLAA's emailing list that is maintained by Barb Roberts.  If you would like to be added to the list, just contact Barb.  (brobertsmn@gmail.com)  You are invited to share the emails by forwarding them to your family and friends who may be interested in lake related subjects.  Likewise, if you are on the emailing list and wish to be removed, you can contact Barb.

Arthur's topic this month is "Long Lake Watercraft Inspections" and this is a copy of his email:

Subject: Long Lake Watercraft Inspections

There have been 638 inspections at the north and south entrances of Long Lake as of July 7th. 54 boats came from lakes known to have invasive species. 6 of those lakes are infested with zebra mussels. 40 boats arrived with their drain plugs in, and there were 17 boats which had water in recesses in the boats. The educational process continues with each boat inspection.
